95 Points for the 2005 Reserve Merlot

The 2005 Reserve Merlot received 95 points in the "100 Top New Release Wines" review in the August/September edition of Australian Gourmet Wine Traveller .

Australian wines were reviewed by WINE contributing editor HUON HOOKE and New Zealand wines reviewed by WINE New Zealand editor BOB CAMPBELL MW.

They wrote "A ripper of a merlot from the masters of whopper shiraz. A big, rich, soft, fruit-sweet palate follows a spicy, anise and berry aroma that is quite seductive. Lush, smooth, good concentration and all-round style.Textbook merlot."
