Painstakingly assembled from individual barrel selections from our best vineyards, this wine is a true expression of the winemaking craft. Each barrel is selected on quality and style with the final inclusion based on the contribution of balance and finesse to the final blend. 

Concentrated and lively, with layers of blackberry, dark plum and violet. A plush and generous mouthfeel with fine tannins and balanced acidity leading to a long, lasting finish.

A much loved and honoured wine - the Fox Creek Reserve Shiraz has twice won the “Bushing King” - Best Wine of Show at McLaren Vale Wine Show, and been named in the Langton’s Classification of Australian fine wines – making it one of the most collectable wines in Australia.

2019 Vintage Note – McLaren Vale
The 2019 vintage in McLaren Vale was shaped by a dry winter and a hot, dry summer, resulting in lower yields but exceptional concentration of flavour. Warm conditions during ripening delivered small berries with thick skins, producing wines of deep colour, intensity, and firm tannin structure. Despite the heat, careful vineyard management allowed for good balance between fruit ripeness and natural acidity, ensuring freshness alongside power. The reds from this vintage, particularly Shiraz, Grenache, and Cabernet Sauvignon, show richness and generosity, with bold dark fruit, spice, and savoury complexity. Overall, 2019 is regarded as a high-quality, robust vintage with excellent cellaring potential.
