Fox Creek Wines is an iconic, award-winning wine brand located in McLaren Vale, South Australia, with a rich heritage in crafting fine regional wines since 1984. Started by Helen and Dr Jim Watts in ’84, the brand has earned a following for its Reserve Shiraz and the Vixen Sparkling Shiraz (Cabernet Sauvignon Cabernet Franc) in particular, with the flagship Fox Creek Reserve Shiraz recognised in the ‘outstanding’ category of the coveted Langton’s wine classification system.

Fox Creek Wines changed hands in 2020, and then again in 2025 when the Maxwell family, well established in the McLaren Vale and with an affinity for Fox Creek wines, took on custodianship of the brand. 

Our commitment is to respect this brand that has such a rich history and connection to the Vale, while breathing new life into its operations to ensure its future success.
