Named after local Willunga farmer & Military Cross recipient James Stanley Malpas (1873-1937). James carved his initials in the stone lintel above the front door of our Original Cellar Door on Malpas Road in 1891 when he was just 18.

Our ‘JSM’ is a bold blend of Shiraz for richness and elegance; Cabernet Sauvignon for ripe, round tannins and length; and Cabernet Franc for aromatic lift and fruit weight.

Generous red currant and dark berry character, with hints of milk chocolate, vanilla and spice. An elegant tannin profile drives the wine from start to finish. Matured in 1-4 year old French & American Oak for 18 months. Cellar for up to 12 years.
