Painstakingly assembled from individual barrel selections from our best vineyards, this wine is a true expression of the winemaking craft. Each barrel is selected on quality and style with the final inclusion based on the contribution of balance and finesse to the final blend. 

Concentrated and lively, with layers of blackberry, dark plum and violet. A plush and generous mouthfeel with fine tannins and balanced acidity leading to a long, lasting finish.

A much loved and honoured wine - the Fox Creek Reserve Shiraz has twice won the “Bushing King” - Best Wine of Show at McLaren Vale Wine Show, and been named in the Langton’s Classification of Australian fine wines – making it one of the most collectable wines in Australia.

 2020 Vintage Note – McLaren Vale The 2020 vintage in McLaren Vale was marked by a warm, dry growing season, producing wines with ripe, concentrated fruit and approachable structure. Mild winter rainfall followed by a temperate spring allowed vineyards to establish good canopy growth, while careful vineyard management during the hot, dry summer preserved acidity and freshness in the grapes. The reds, particularly Shiraz, Grenache, and Cabernet Sauvignon, are expressive and fruit-forward, showing vibrant dark berry and spice notes, with balanced tannins and generous texture. Overall, 2020 yielded approachable, well-structured wines with immediate appeal and moderate aging potential.
